Bio

Chris Ruiz has served as Sports Information Director and Webmaster for the SCFA since its inception in 2008. Ruiz was also the SID at Long Beach City College from 2001-16 and previously held the same duties with the Mission Football Conference from 2005-07.

Ruiz earned a BA degree in mass communications and journalism from California State University, Fresno in 2000. While at Fresno State, he worked as a student assistant for the sports information office and men's basketball team under hall of fame head coach Jerry Tarkanian.
