AHC Football to Host Annual Military Appreciation Game on October 28th

SANTA MARIA, Calif. - The Allan Hancock College football team is set to honor all current and former members of the United States Armed Forces on Saturday, October 28th, during the annual Military Appreciation Game. The Bulldogs will be hosting Santa Barbara City College for a National Northern League showdown at 2 PM on the AHC Football Field.

Active duty military personnel and veterans are able to reserve up to four free tickets per order by using a special passcode on the ahcbulldogs.com ticketing page. Tickets are available in two tiers: game-only tickets and game + pregame celebration event tickets. The pregame celebration event will take place prior to kickoff, beginning at 1 PM, at the AHC Winery. Pregame celebration festivities will feature yard games, free food, live music, and wine tasting. A special pregame coin toss and a halftime presentation are also planned to honor local active duty military members and veterans.

"Our military—whether past or present—and their families have made sacrifices for all of us. We truly appreciate their continued dedication and love using this opportunity to honor that service," stated Director of Athletics Kim Ensing.

Please contact Shelby Scott (shelby.scott@hancockcollege.edu) for questions or assistance related to the free ticket reservation and/or the passcode access. Personnel of the Vandenberg SFB can also contact the 30th Space Wing Public Affairs office at (805) 606-3595 to obtain the ticket reservation passcode and additional information.
