After giving up the opening score, the Marauders took the Brahmas by the bit and beat Pierce 57-37.
In the game, Blake Shepherd, who went 25 for 46 good for 356 yards and four touchdowns, broke two more Marauder records - season passing (2716 yards) and season touchdown passes (24).
After the Brahmas hit a field goal on their first possession, Shepherd and AVC took control and held a 19-10 lead at the half.
But the Marauders had scored offensively in all three categories - a Shepherd pass to Conor Keating, a three yard run by Trevonte Coleman and two field goals by James Augusta, one a 40 yarder as time expired in the half.
For Coleman, who is still a two-way player and was the Marauders' top defender until he moved primarily to the offense due to injuries, it marked his first time over 100 yards witha 25 carry, 124 yard game for three more touchdowns.
For Augusta, it marked the first game he hit on more than one field goal in a game, and in fact had three - of 28, 40 and career high 44.
Two of Shepherd's four passing scores went to Alex Byers, who had eight catches for 162 yards.
As has happened a lot this season in Marauder games, the third quarter was not about defense for either team. The final point count in the third was AVC 21, Pierce 20, but it was the Brahmas with the yardage advantage - 226-173. That total was over half of Pierce's offensive output.
